The Revelations 2.2 patch has been deployed and Tranquility has returned to service. If you have an issue after the deployment, please check the Known Issues page to see if the Dev Team is already aware of it and submit a bug report. If you are unsure of what has been changed in this patch, please take a look at the Patch Notes page. You can also take a look at the announcement thread for this patch.[/green]
This should be all the patch notes we had left, except for the Exploit fixes, but you never know what else may come.

Posted a bit prematurely, it will be unlocked once the server actually opens up.

Originally by: Scilent Enigma Some things that I've noticed is that my ship keeps rocking while stationary, in sub-light flight and in warp. (Jaguar btw). This is making me a bit seasick . When jumping the screen blacks out for a millisecond after loading the new systems background.
When auto linking things, right clicking the selection window items and selecting show info will not load the full info window. Only image loads and then nothing else.
You bug reported everything I assume?

Originally by: Graven Threndor I had an extra file called "trinity.dll" (not "_trinity.dll"). Deleted it, and now the game loads.
As I understand it the trinity.dll file was replaced with _trinity.dll in 4556, so if you happen to have both you should try to delete trinity.dll since it shouldn't be there anyway.
I don't think you guys will see many Dev posts tonight, it's almost midnight in Reykjavik. You guys will probably hate me for this, but best suggestion I have is, if nothing else has worked, do a new install from a freshly downloaded client. Hopefully we will be able to sort out these issues tomorrow though.
We will of course evaluate what went right and what went wrong with this patch and make sure we implement ways to not make the same mistakes again while keeping the things that were good.

For people who have CRC issues with their tut2.stuff file we will be hosting a copy of it which can be downloaded here. If you are experiencing the issue during the patch process, you can:- Delete the tut2.stuff file from the EVE client folder (by default it is C:\Program Files\CCP\EVE\tut2.stuff).
- Download the zipped tut2.stuff file.
- Upzip it to the EVE client folder (by default it is C:\Program Files\CCP\EVE\).
- Launch the client and auto-patch to TQ.
- Note that the fix above is not applicable if the client build number is 25245, instead you will have to follow the instructions below.
If you are experiencing the issue (tut2.stuff and common.ini) after the client has been patched, you have to:- Delete the tut2.stuff file and common.ini from the EVE client folder (by default it is C:\Program Files\CCP\EVE\tut2.stuff).
- Download the zipped tut2.stuff file and common.ini.
- Upzip the two files to the EVE client folder (by default it is C:\Program Files\CCP\EVE\).
- Launch the client and connect to TQ.

Originally by: Benzmann why cant i log in ?, after i put in my password and all that, i hit connect, and then the client stops connecting, it just says "Acquiring Bulk Data"
so wrangler or any other GM can you plz help me out
Does it time out? I've heard it can sometimes take a long time to aquire bulk data and it seems like you're stuck but you really just have to let it keep going, in some case for very long.

Originally by: Mar'Dur Taren I've just noticed a weird bug. Unfortunately its very early in the morning and I can't check through the forums to see if its been reported yet. I want to write down what I'm seeing.
I've been ratting for several hours against Serpentis. I killed a few rats in a system then warped to a gate and cloaked so I could chat to a friend. After 30 minutes I notice the aggression counter was still up. I stayed in place and watched it count down. Somewhere between 9 minutes 59 seconds and 9 minutes even it resets to 15 minutes. No way it will ever go to zero that way.
Has anyone else seen this?
I haven't seen anything about it, but you should submit a bug report regardless of someone else having reported it previously or not.

Originally by: Transfer chick Ok, SERIOUSLY ccp. SOME inpout would be nice here.
I havent been able to log in since the patch. I have an active internet connection. I am not using a router atm, I bypassed that. I have tried connecting with NO firewall active at all, still didn't work.
Still get the same message. HELP? Please?
We tried doing a trace to you and it times out, there is probably some error on the route between you and the Tranquility server. The Dev I talked to said you should do a "tracert 87.237.38.200" and send the result to your ISP, they should be able to help you sort it out.

Originally by: Noxen Little frustrating, don't seem to be able to stay ingame for more than 10 min, without ctd, with "connection lost" each time. I reinstalled the game with no change, and no, there is no problems with my isp... Never had this problem before the patch...
Do you have the sound enabled? We've had reports that it may cause the client to crash.

Originally by: Hakari Forstun Ok problem everytime i go to connect it goes up to acquiring bulk data, and i wont go any further. I dont know whats going on but it just wont let me play. Can u help me?
I've seen this a few times lately, unless you timeout you should just leave it to aquire bulk data until it finishes. Not that this can take a long time, someone said over 30 minutes someone said 20 minutes etc.

Originally by: Graven Threndor Um... a DirectX 10 Engine next year? Will this be optional, for those of us who do not wish to touch Vista with a 10-meter cattle prod? Or will Microsoft pull their heads out and release DX10 for XP?
No, there will be two versions in the future, one DX9 and one DX10.
